I started to use it early 2018 then ran out maybe in may-ish? Towards the end of 2018/ early 2019 (can’t remember exactly sorry!) I bought it again because my skin was feeling very blah, and I noticed it didn’t give me the same glow as before. I used up 2 of the small travel sized containers then when I ran out I was too busy to rebuy. I would just buy the smaller travel size that came with B-hydra. So when I initially started to use drunk elephant I noticed my skin looked GLOWING! Like I would get compliments at work (as a server so I saw lots of people) all the time! Even my boyfriend that literally never notices stuff like that complimented my skin lol. Has anyone switched from Skinceuticals formula to another brand and had a positive experience and worth venturing into? Do you think I should I just stick to what's working for a bit more money than throw (albeit lesser amount of) money down the tube trying different ones? Skinceuticals suing DE over the formula also makes me think this will serve my skin practically just as well! Drunk Elephant's C-firma appears to have a similar actives formula as Skinceuticals and overall pretty decent other ingredients and the price is somewhere in the middle ($119 at Sephora but still □). I'm not sure where else in Canada I can get this serum to minimize risk of receiving fakes and "defective items" that are intermingled in Amazon inventory. I gather the Timeless has an very similar formula and is affordable at about $68 on Amazon.ca but I vary of purchasing from Amazon since you never know if it's an authentic formula or a fake, plus other issues I read on the reviews like receiving a completely different packaging/formula(old blue bottles), the product arrives already oxidized and or the formula is too watery/gritty. As much as I'd love to support brands with legitimate research supported product formulations, given my not-rich status I'm exploring other options. Especially after learning that these ingredients are very low cost to source from the manufacturer so you're really just paying for their R&D costs and branding. I LOVE LOVE LOVE what the serum is doing for my skin, how well the formula has held up in my skincare fridge for a few months but don't love the price tag so much ($209□!!!). Hi all, I'm running low on my Skinceuticals C+E Ferulic Acid serum and debating between repurchasing it or trying other ones.
